Frequently Asked Questions
Check out the information below to learn more about life at 4th West.
Discovery & Lifestyle
- What makes the 4th West lifestyle different from other downtown Salt Lake City apartments?
-
We’ve designed 4th West to feel like a world-class destination rather than just a residence. While many buildings offer views, our rooftop experience is truly unparalleled. You can practice your short game on our rooftop putting green, unwind in private resort-style cabanas, or enjoy our Zero Edge luxury lap pool—all while taking in spectacular 360-degree views of the Wasatch Mountains and the city skyline.
Beyond the exceptional amenities, our greatest focus is creating a true community. At 4th West, we strive to provide more than just a home—we create experiences that bring residents together. Through thoughtfully planned, well-attended events held throughout each month, we foster meaningful connections, encourage lasting friendships, and cultivate an environment where residents feel welcomed, engaged, and proud to call 4th West home.
- What kind of fitness and wellness facilities do you offer?
-
We provide a high-performance fitness and recreation experience that rivals any boutique club. Residents enjoy 24/7 access to our 3,500-square-foot Life Fitness Club, a dedicated 1,600-square-foot Yoga & Spin Studio, and complimentary onsite yoga and Pilates classes led by professional instructors.
Whether you’re setting a new personal record in the fitness center, finding your flow during a yoga class, challenging friends to a game of pickleball, shooting hoops on our full-size rooftop basketball court, or enjoying one of our many wellness-focused amenities, you’ll have everything you need to support an active lifestyle—without ever leaving home.
- What are the "hidden gems" of the 4th West amenity package?
-
Beyond the basics, we offer high-tech social spaces and recreational amenities you won’t find elsewhere in Salt Lake City. Our Sports Club features a TRU Golf simulator, billiards, and shuffleboard alongside a massive 16-screen multiplex TV, creating the perfect destination for game days and friendly competition. Residents can also enjoy our outdoor rooftop putting green, offering a unique way to practice their short game while taking in breathtaking views of the city skyline and Wasatch Mountains.
For those who love to entertain, our rooftop clubhouse features a full-service catering kitchen and demonstration kitchen, providing the perfect setting for hosting private gatherings, celebrations, and memorable events.
- Is the property walkable?
-
Extremely! With a Walk Score of 81, you are a short stroll from the Delta Center (0.5 miles away), Gateway Mall (0.4 miles away), and the Marmalade Library (0.6 miles away). For commuters, the North Temple TRAX and FrontRunner stations are just one block away, quickly connecting you to the entire valley and the Salt Lake City International Airport.
- What is the noise level like near the trains?
-
Being near the North Temple station is a massive transit perk, but it does come with urban sounds. We have utilized dual-pane windows and high-quality insulation to mitigate noise.
- Are there social events for residents?
-
Yes! We believe in building a true community, not just an apartment building. From poolside summer mixers and “Yappy Hours” for our four-legged residents to local coffee pop-ups in the lobby, we create opportunities for neighbors to connect in fun and meaningful ways.
Residents also enjoy monthly Wine Down Wednesdays, arts and crafts nights, karaoke events, fitness classes, and so much more throughout the year. And if you think you’ve experienced apartment living events before, think again. You haven’t experienced anything like our two signature annual celebrations—our highly anticipated Summer Pool Party and our legendary Halloween Party. These resident-favorite events bring the entire community together and are just one more reason why so many people are proud to call 4th West home.
- What are the best local "hidden gems" nearby?
-
Reviewers and locals alike love Sunroom Coffee (0.1 miles away) for a morning brew and The Garten (0.3 miles away) for a unique outdoor cider and beer experience. For a quick grocery run, Lee’s Market (located here at 4th West) is a resident favorite.
